Western Red Cedar is an unique and soft species. It is appreciated worldwide for its natural durability, excellent acoustic and isolative properties and pleasant smell. It is very light in weight and easily to machine. The right botanical name of this species is Thuja plicata. The species belongs to the Cupressaceae family. It only grows on the west coast of North America from California to Alaska. TotEM Ltd. represents the Canadian company Still Creek Forest Products Ltd. and distributes the Czech and Slovak market. Our company imports different products like sidings, shingles and shakes, deckings and sawnwood directly. We install exterior sidings, deckings and interior paneling. We manufacture pergolas, sheds, gazeboos and many other garden products, but we also produce special cedar doors and windows, blinds and shutters.

Tropical wood is demanded for its excellent properties such as hardness, durability and unique color and texture. Our company is specialized in importing the best South American wood species like Ipe, Massaranduba, Jatoba, Garapa, Angelim and many others. We supply hardwood in Czech and Slovak Republic in close cooperation with the company Tradelink Wood Products Ltd. We offer decking and siding profiles, sawn and navy products, flooring and wooden tiles. We produce and install wooden terraces, balconies, mouldings, facades and paneling, fences, garden screens, pergolas, sunshades, bridges and many other products made of hardwoods. We can also manufacture interior staircases and railings, doors and frames as well as wooden furniture.

A quite new material called Wood Plastic Composite or „Woodplastic“ or just WPC was developed a few years ago as an alternative product to hardwood exotic species which are used for exterior terrases, siding, fencing and railing. WPC is a mix of wood from recovered saw dust and virgin or waste plastics such as high-density Polyethylene, Polyvinylchloride or Polypropylene. There are some additives like colorants, coupling agents, stabilizers, foaming agents, etc. The result of such production is a very unique hard mass which is finished to wide range of profiles.
The main reasons why use WPC there is durability, color and dimensional stability, environmental friendly technology, easy installation and a low maintenance. There are so many manufacturers of WPC worldwide and their products vary due to different content of wood and plastic as well as final appearance and warranty.
Our company is an authorized distributor of brand name wood-plastic composite  REHAU RELLAZZO patented by REHAU company. We do installation of this system around the whole Czech and Slovak Republic as well as in EU.

Since 1996 we manufacture furniture and supply interior works. We are able to produce custom-made products in large quantities like cabinets, doors, staircases and railings mostly in exotic hardwoods and western red cedar, but we also use other products like plywood, veneer chipboard, MDF and other wood based products. ToTEM sell high quality interior floorings of tropical hardwoods as well as professional sales systems and realize custom made projects turn-key.

We installed brand new kiln facility with up-todate technology of kiln drying of timber in two convectional kiln chambers KATRES with capacity 60 m³ each.
